I’m moving to Denver right now

WideOpenWest, or WOW is providing cable TV and cable Internet in the midwest. Now, please hold on to something, because what I’m about to tell you may cause you get light headed. WOW can give you 3MB bi-directional Internet access for $50 a month!! and if you get cable TV through them, you can upgrade to 10MB bi-directional Internet for less then $100..!!!!!!! (I just couldn’t put enough bangs there, heh). I just have a hard time imagining it…

And I thought I was living in the ‘Digital Dominion’ here on the East Coast….

I just don’t have enough hours in the day. I’ve got several projects I’m working on in my spare time now, and each one is pseudo-dependent on the other.

CP3 Video see the preview below, then youll understand
ASP.NET Portal - I’ve scoured the net, and anything but IBS is vaporware. Many places claim to be building a portal/forum/news app similar to phpnuke but not a single project on sourceforge has a product. They all claim to be in ‘architecture’ or pre-development stages. Well, I want to do all kinds of things with fb.com and I just can’t do it easily without some kind of portal, so I’m making one.. humph. Ive got tons of ideas, but so little time. Oh, and yes, it has to be in VB.NET… it just has to be.
CP3 Video:: The Guide - How to turn a game demo file into a movie. I need the portal to effectively publish and update this. Ill probably just keep using Word until I get a portal up.

Microsoft Security Operations Guide for Windows 2000 Server

MS makes their version of the NSA lockdown guide. I like NSA’s much better. It’s short, sweet, and to the point for your specific needs.

Another Video

I’ve created a Quake III Arena Video of our Q3 Finals at CP3, the last CP Lan Party. I’ll be making more as time goes along. I’ll also be uploading a guide on how to make these videos. With all the research I’ve had to do, I could make a whole of my site on the subject.

UPDATE: note to self: never post video files

I had posted a few weeks ago about how much bandwidth I was sending because of the matrix video below. Well the March reports are in and I totally blew away my 100 Gig goal. For the Month of March I transfered 239.516 Gig of data! It’s interesting what happens when you put a popular file on your web site, and then you get reported on a big tech news site like geeknews.net. Thank goodness media3.net grants unlimited bandwidth, even on the el-cheapo $19 a month package. It’s also quite a testament that a site sharing it’s server resources with 200 other sites on it can do 42 Gig of transfers in 24 hours (On March 20th). As a reference, I did 2.2 Gig of traffic in Feb, and only 15MB last September!! ha!
