		<description>Bob, everything I've seen is not a real word usage scenario.  Turning off the GUI features and running CPU and I/O hammering benchmarks doesn't necessarily make your system run faster as you use it.  A better analysis would be: "which one boots and logs in faster" with the real world usage of MANY auto-start apps.  Or "when running 5 apps at once, how responsive is a new browser window launch" or "what is the CPU usage of playing a HD Quicktime video"... 

I guess my point was that in day to day usage as a desktop platform, I use both, and actually find things a bit slower and quirkier on win2008 as a desktop (it's a rock solid server).</description>
